Awareness Sessions for Teachers and Parents – IDPD 2025
As part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025 activities, Bliss Care Foundation conducted awareness sessions for teachers and parents on supporting children with speech and hearing disabilities.
As part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2025 celebrations, Bliss Care Foundation organized two meaningful awareness sessions for teachers and parents, led by the Maldivian Association of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (MASPA). The sessions focused on “An Orientation on Supporting Speech and Hearing Disabilities,” providing practical insights to help participants better understand communication needs and effective ways to support children both at home and in school settings.
The sessions encouraged open discussion, learning, and collaboration, strengthening community capacity to support inclusive education and communication development. Bliss Care Foundation sincerely thanks MASPA for delivering these important sessions and deeply appreciates all the teachers and parents who took the time to participate, engage, and contribute toward building stronger inclusive support within the community.
